Top breakfast to start the day with an amazing view, omelettes made to order. Amazing, brilliant location close to colourfull bar too. Also, in a 700 year old Monastery on Lake Konstanz.

The breakfast here is awesome, they serve a lot of food 🥐. This place is right in the middle of everything, so you can easily walk to nearby restaurants. If you feel like grabbing a cup of coffee, there's a cool spot called Wessenberg Cafe just around the corner.

Its location was very central, next to a defensive tower. Besides, it was so close to good for relaxing by the lake, an island ajoining Konstanz center which is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained and an old Monastery dating back to AD600...

The room was nicely furnished and had a modern vibe. It was comfortable and up-to-date. the location was peaceful and convenient, just a stone's throw away from the ferry terminal. 🌿

Clean units with bathroom, garden view and a great balcony, and the staff were WONDERFUL. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk away from Pedestrian Area Konstanz.

We booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary because it was in a good location on Lake Konstanz, and we thought it would be a luxurious and romantic place to celebrate our special occasion. Our room was on the 4th floor, and the elevator only went up to the 3rd. We are in our middle 60's and are fortunately in good health so the stairs weren't a problem, but it made the stay much less pleasant. We were told at check in that we were put in this location because we booked through Booked.net instead of directly with the hotel. We had to take what we were assigned. The room had only a dormer window and was very claustrophobic. We were extremely disappointed in the room and will not use an internet service for our future travel needs. Let the buyer beware!

Most areas of the hotel are in need of refurbishment, like carpets in the hallways.The outside areas are not well cared for, the inner courtyard is a weed lawn, the few plants on the sea-terrace are neglected

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The value for money was exceptional, especially considering the stunning location on the waterfront. The hotel itself is housed in a 700-year-old monastery on a private island adjoining Konstanz center, which added to its charm. My room had a nice balcony with a view to the inner yard of the hotel, and it was well-maintained and comfortable. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, and the breakfast was delicious with an amazing view on the waterfront.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

The location was excellent. The history of the building intrigued me. The welcome gift of fruit, juice and chocolates was very nice. The restaurant had lovely views and excellent staff. The terrace was a nice place to have a drink or lunch.

Our room on the fourth floor had only a small window. It was under the eaves and had a slanted low ceiling. I banged me head at least once. The elevator only went to the third floor and we had to carry our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. There was no bellman and no offer of help with our luggage. The upholstery on the chairs in our room, 422, was worn. The was always debris of some kind on the stairs - it was not vacuumed regularly. In the ground floor cloister, approaching the restaurant, several tables had been set up for coffee service. They remained uncleared for 2 days. In short, the hotel seemed more like a 3 star B & B than 5 star hotel.

The room was modern and spotless, with coffee and tea making facilities, a work desk, and multi-channel TV. I got generous breakfasts with an amazing view of the waterfront and omelettes made to order.

We had an amazing time at a lakeside hotel with picturesque views. Our room opened onto a balcony overlooking the lake, and breakfast on the patio was sublime. The friendly staff and easy walking access to the town made our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel.
